  • Onesimus - Useless or Useful? | Season 2 - EP. 15
A second person is mentioned with Tychicus as Paul's Letter is delivered to the Colossians. You might recognize that name, Onesimus, from another of Paul's Letters, the Letter to Philemon. Let's take a moment to reflect on this real person and the reason why Paul was sending him back to Colossae.

  • The Woman at the Well | Season 2 - EP. 11

WOW! Jesus chose to walk through Samaria. Did you know that some Pharisees and "religious people" would actually cross the Jordan River and walk up the other side (a good distance out of the way) in order to avoid doing this?

When Jesus stopped, He met a woman at a well. He spoke with this woman and communicated things to her that amazed her. But beyond that, He revealed things to her that convicted her and soon many people from her village. What can we learn from this encounter?

Peter was a fisherman. He first fished on the water. Then he fished on the land. Both jobs were important, but the latter was a very different type of fishing.

We'll explore only a few key moments in Peter's life on this episode. Nevertheless, we hope it will bless you as you consider how this person responded to the call from the Christ as well as how you will respond.

Do you have a "reputation"? Is it a GOOD reputation?
John had a reputation as a "Son of Thunder". He and his brother wanted to call down fire on a Samaritan village. And then, he became different. Very, very different...

  • Andrew | Season 2 - EP. 7

Did you know that Andrew used to hang out with John the Baptist? Did you know that he and John (the future Apostle) were J.B.'s disciples?

There are a few things we can learn about this man who perhaps could be called "the second". He was second to his older, much more extroverted brother but there were other ways in which he did the simplest things in the most secondary ways.
