Today, I am getting vulnerable from a personal POV on how guilt and shame surface my life. Where it shows up in my life and how I deal or shall I say try very hard to deal with it. I know shame and guilt are two feelings that I are really uncomfortable experiencing but the truth is they will continue to surface in life. So I got two choices; avoidance or mastery. I try to always choose mastery when it comes all things. I also know that I cannot grow in a state of shame, and well what is life if we are not growing as humans. Happy Listening.

You have to start believing that every single chapter in your life is teaching you something. Not every chapter is going to be sunshine, rainbows and unicorns flying around, but every fucken chapter is going to teach you something. You are human, and as humans we are meant to experience life so we can grow from one chapter into another. Sometimes its amazing moments in your life, other times it is horrific moments that you wish you can avoid but make you stronger, more resilient, wiser and capable to handle the next. No matter the chapter you are in right now, I want you to embrace it. Stop dodging the bullets of the chapters you don't like. Every single chapter in your life is teaching you a lesson you need in order to move to the next. And the next chapter will show up before you know it. Plus it's super comforting to live life knowing that what you are going through; good, epic, bad, horrific, or neutral is preparing you for what ever will be brought to you next.

Choosing to live life with this mindset is a game changer. Again, it comes back to you.
When we think that this inner voice is us, all we're hearing is negative things over and over again on repeat, then suddenly we think we're a worthless person incapable of achieving anything. Not only that, but when this voice runs our life, we're not even living in this world.
This week; we are going to talk about the little or perhaps very loud voice in your head. The one that prevents you from making scary decisions, the one that tells you that you will never get the promotion at work, that you do not deserve to be in a healthy relationship, the one that makes you doubt who you are, what you say, the actions you take and what you think about yourself. The relationship you have with your thoughts and emotions is a very powerful one. One that can be a game changer or a deal breaker when it comes to your mood, and energy. The biggest mountain you will ever climb in life is the one you create in your mind every single day. The person you speak to the most in your entier lifetime is you. Do you see how you can run into a massive problem if we do not identify the relationship you have with your roommate in your mind vs the real you.
When was the last time someone told you they are proud of you? When was the last time you can recall telling someone you are proud of them? Many people are going through life never being proud of themselves, never stoping to recognize their efforts, let alone celebrate them. And then you wonder why you are not happy or satisfied with yourself? Then you wonder why you keep looking outside for validation of your work, or your worth. This week; we talk about how normalizing being proud of ourselves, instead of waiting for someone to tell us can change your entire life around.
