  • #TheWileyShow Trump Bars Refugees and Citizens of 7 Countries & More
A federal judge in New York has issued an emergency stay temporarily halting the removal of individuals detained after President Trump issued an order to ban immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.
The move appears to mark the first successful legal challenge to the Trump administration and affects those who have arrived in the U.S. with previously approved refugee applications or were in transit with valid visas. Similar rulings were later issued in Virginia, Massachusetts and Washington state.
U.S. District Court Judge Ann Donnelly ruled in favor of a habeas corpus petition filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on behalf of two Iraqi men who were detained at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday after Trump signed his order.

  • Do We Need More Black Gay Bars ? Call in 516-387-1815
    Call in 516-387-1815
The Catch was clearly in decline for many years. The club’s owner, Jewel Thais-Williams, opens the massive multiroom venue only for special events, most of which are run by promoters who have no affiliation with the black gay community.
Without a stand-alone venue aimed at them, and with L.A.’s neighborhoods becoming more diverse — thus diluting black enclaves — some gay black men are fighting for their right to party. But others are wondering if, in today's more integrated culture, there's a need for black gay bars — or any gay bars targeting a particular ethnicity.
As black men respond to the Catch's closure by migrating to West Hollywood as an alternative, some feel that the lily-white area offers little hope for black men looking for fun.
“We have to try to make ourselves believe that we’re wanted there and that we’re supported there, when it really is not that,” says Greg Wilson, deputy director at Realistic Education in Action Coalition to Foster Health, or Reach L.A., a nonprofit that coordinates HIV services and wellness programs for LGBTQ youth of color.
Reach L.A. also stages the wildly popular Ovahness Ball, an annual ballroom competition with mostly black performers. Wilson says there are “many ways” in which bars in Boystown, the gay-friendly stretch of West Hollywood, show black men they’re not welcome.
“Places like the Abbey that will change the music up a certain way, or make sure that all you see in the bar are people that are identified as ‘their population,” he says. “Which is, y’know, Caucasian.”
(Abbey founder and owner David Cooley responds, "The Abbey is for everyone." He stressed that Sunday nights are "a little more hip-hop," and that the bar tries to keep things broad.)

  • Honoring Dr. King's Legacy, Is ATL Gay Pride Played Out?
Honoring Dr. King's Legacy, Is ATL Gay Pride Played Out?
We will be discussing Milan Christopher Facebook post he wrote 1 days ago. You can read his post below.
I heard Atl pride was extremely Light this past weekend.. And in all honestly most prides are in decline around the country. But this is the result of several factors amongst the black gay community. #1 is lazy greedy promoters. Promoters who don't want to give anything back but expect a huge return. For instance booking cheap locals that you can see at The mall every Sunday as celebrity guest, watering down the Liqour but over charging every cup, no promotions but on Facebook & Instagram from their ragga muffin crew, hiring the same tired dj and the same annoying ass Mc yelling on the mic all night. Then 10 promoters pop up and all want to throw parties on the same day and time.. The only thing they want to do is provide a venue and then want to charge $40/$60 at the door.. like you have to be kidding me.  Most patrons at this point can simply open a gay app on their phones and poor them a glass of Liqour they bought for $10 at the local market & save themselves $100 or more if they want to meet new people and dates. I come from an era where every week the clubs offered atmosphere, themes, changing of djs, brought in hot guys from around the country, had contest, gave you an escape from everyday reality. I don't know wtf these wack ass promoters are doing these days but these guys are ruining the scene in its entirety and need to get their shit together.. let me know how you guys feel!

  • RIP Bishop Eddie Long, Celebrating Dr. King Martin L King Jr Birthday
We are discussing Bishop Eddie Long death, Dr. Martin L King Birthday
“My heart is heavy, but God is in control. See you in the rapture Bishop Eddie Long. It was my honor to serve New Birth for 12 years,” tweets Byron Cage.
Cage is the former minister of music at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church founded and led by Long.
On New Birth’s website, Long is described as:
Bishop Eddie L. Long is known worldwide as a pioneering leader, revolutionary mind changer, a family man, and a caring and loving pastor. As a pioneering leader, Bishop Long is highly regarded for his vision, boldness, and unapologetic courage to walk in the supernatural. As a pastor, he is well respected and loved for his passion to bring souls into the body of Christ and join them to a local church body, and for preaching and teaching messages that change mindsets and encourage hearts. At home, he is a doting husband to his beautiful wife, First Lady Vanessa Long and loving father to his 4 children and 3 grandchildren. At New Birth, Bishop Long is most loved for being the ‘father of many’ – a pastor who loves God, God’s people, and who speaks life and declares, You shall NOT die but live to proclaim the goodness of the Lord!
Kevin Bond, another former minister of music at New Birth, writes on Facebook: “My sincere prayers go out to the Family of Bishop Eddie Long & the entire New Birth Church Family in the passing of Bishop Eddie Long. RIP”
In October 2016, Long told his congregation during a service earlier this month that God had healed him. “I’ve been on a journey and just recalibrating myself.”
The ‘recalibrating’ is likely in part the raw food diet that he adopted. An emaciated Long professed in a video that shocked the world in August 2016.

  • Ep 1. Discussion On President Elect Donald J Trump Call in 516-387-1815
Ep 1. Discussion On President Elect Donald J Trump Call in 516-387-1815
Washington (CNN) President-elect Donald Trump plans to repeal a raft of President Barack Obama's executive actions in his first day in office, Trump's incoming White House press secretary said Sunday.
Sean Spicer, Trump's incoming White House press secretary, said on ABC's "This Week" that Trump will immediately "repeal a lot of the regulations and actions that have been taken by this administration over the last eight years that have hampered both economic growth and job creation."
It was one of two moves Spicer said Trump will make immediately after he takes the oath of office.
He didn't specify which executive actions Trump will repeal.
However, Trump has long been critical of Obama's moves on immigration, energy regulation and foreign policy, and could look for ways to undo those and other actions.
Spicer also said Trump will begin reforms intended to "bring a new brand to Washington" with a restriction on members of his administration becoming lobbyists for a period of five years after they leave Trump's government.
"It's very forward-thinking," Spicer said. "What we've had in the past is people who have looked in the rearview mirror. This time, we're thinking forward. If you want to serve in a Trump administration, you're going to serve this country, not yourself."
