  • The Gay Preacher's Wife Book Review, My Experience With A Gay Pastor
The Gay Preacher Wife Book Review, My Experience With A Gay Pastor

The deeply personal memoir of Lydia Meredith, a woman who spent almost thirty years married to a preacher—only to have her husband leave her for a MAN —and how her life becomes a testimony of tolerance and a theology of love and acceptance.
After being married to Reverend Dennis A. Meredith for almost thirty years, Lydia Meredith discovers a shocking truth: the love of her life left her for a MAN. Now, Lydia opens up for the first time about how that revelation shattered her world—and strengthened her faith.
With her life turned upside down, Lydia struggled to put the pieces of her broken heart back together and that led her to pursue understanding through an accredited theological education. She wanted a way to put her family back together and she found Jesus’ ministry and teachings were “actually” about teaching tolerance and love for people who are labeled different.
Candid, honest, and incredibly touching, Lydia Meredith shows that faith and perseverance can get you through any challenge life throws your way.

  • TheWileyShow: Discussion on Donald Trump picking Richard Betrand Spencer.
    Yeah, I'm dead serious.
No, it's not a stretch in the least bit.
This is not a conspiracy theory. It's not about what might happen. It's already a done deal. Let me explain.
Just weeks before Stephen Bannon was tapped to become the new CEO of Donald Trump's presidential campaign last month, he bragged to Sarah Posner of Mother Jones that Breitbart News, the media company he has led for years, "is the platform for the alt-right."
    Let's pause there.
The phrase "alt-right" was coined by one of the most bigoted, racist, white supremacists in America — Richard Betrand Spencer. He is the brain of the alt-right movement — which is nothing more than white supremacist bigotry by a new name. In 2013, the Anti-Defamation League labeled him as "symbol of the new white supremacy."

  • The Election Is This Tuesday Who Are You Voting For? Call in 516-387-1815
Hillary Clinton enlisted some star power Friday with a concert featuring Jay Z, Beyonce, Chance the Rapper and Big Sean, part of an effort to drum up excitement behind her campaign the weekend before Election Day.
The group of rap and hip hop icons urged voters to head to the polls on Tuesday and firmly backed Clinton's candidacy.
"I want my daughter to grow up seeing a women lead our country and knowing that her possibilities are limitless," said Beyonce, sporting a black-and-white polka dot pantsuit. "And that's why I am with her." Her performance was backed by dancers in blue pantsuits, an obvious reference to Clinton.
The Cleveland concert, meant to drive up turnout among young people in Ohio, was announced weeks ago, but only as a Jay Z performance, not a joint appearance with his wife.
"We have unfinished business to do," Clinton told the audience after the concert. "More barriers to break and with your help, a glass ceiling to crack once and for all!"
Clinton came out after a duet by Jay Z and Beyonce. In her short speech, Clinton quoted something the iconic rapper said during his 2008 performance for then-Sen. Barack Obama.
"And remember," Clinton said, "Jay memorably said something we should all recall: Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk. And Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could ran. And Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly!"
No one mentioned Donald Trump by name on stage, but multiple performers made mention of his candidacy.
"This other guy, I don't have any ill will ... he cannot be my president," Jay Z said. "He cannot be our president. Once you divide us, you weaken us, we are stronger together. And without further ado, I would like to introduce to you the next president of the United State, Miss Hillary Clinton."
