Reality Survival & Prepping

A couple of years ago I wrote a very long piece on this topic and seem to have lost it somehow. So this video will have to do for now) until I can find it or re-write it) to get my thoughts out on this topic. Bottomline is that we cannot let emotions rule the day when acts of evil take place and we must demand action by our leaders to protect our rights and our children and families. I will leave the rest to be said in the video. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!

When the Democrats were railroading Donald Trump with multiple criminal and civil law suits without giving him proper due process it was absolutely a complete corruption of of our Justice system and it should have NEVER happened! But When the Trump administration does the same thing it is even worse. In order to take and keep the moral high ground we must stick to the highest legal standards and be above reproach. Otherwise, the public’s belief in blind justice and equal treatment under the law evaporates and when that happens the Republic’s end is near. That is something I personally would like to avoid! In this video I talk about two primary concepts. First, how do we determine what we get behind. Second, and most importantly is Due Process and why we can’t let it die.

At first glance these issues may not seem directly related to prepping. But in my humble opinion they very much are! Stability and equal justice within government is a crucial element to the very survival of the Republic. If we let that die, then the Republic dies. If that happens all bets are off and we are looking at a perpetual SHTF situation that won’t get fixed anytime soon! So you bet it is related.

Here is a look at the August Giveaway prizes! Still time to get in on it!

Realists,

I was having a hard time understanding why the Trump Administration was pushing this Flag Burning issue, since it is clearly not something the Office of the President can do from a legal perspective. I suspect that perhaps this was only an attempt to control the media cycle and drive attention away from the recent actions moving forward on Schedule F. I might be off the mark here but wanted to get your thoughts and put if forward as a possibility since President Trump is very good at manipulating the media. What do you think? Perhaps the two issues are unrelated, either way both are concerning to me!

Why Nationwide Martial Law Is Impossible

From time to time, people speculate about the idea of the United States government imposing full nationwide martial law. But when you run the numbers, it becomes clear: the U.S. military simply does not have the manpower to seize and control the country’s major urban centers for any meaningful length of time. The following is a Chat GPT assessment of the possibility of the entire US military implementing Martial Law within the US and below is a video I did many years ago essentially saying the same thing.

The Force Requirement

Military planners and analysts use a standard rule of thumb for stability and urban control missions: 20 security personnel per 1,000 residents. This figure comes from counterinsurgency and peacekeeping operations worldwide. It’s not an arbitrary number—it reflects the manpower needed to run checkpoints, patrol neighborhoods, control key infrastructure, guard detainees, and still have forces available for quick reaction.

At that density:

* A city of 1 million requires about 20,000 troops to “hold.”

* A metro of 10 million requires about 200,000 troops.

America’s Top 10 Metros

Let’s apply that math to the ten largest U.S. metropolitan areas (2024 Census estimates):

Metro Area Population Troops Needed @ 20/1,000 New York City 19.9M ~399,000 Los Angeles 12.9M ~259,000 Chicago 9.4M ~188,000 Dallas–Fort Worth 8.3M ~167,000 Houston 7.8M ~156,000 Miami 6.5M ~129,000 Washington, D.C. 6.4M ~129,000 Atlanta 6.4M ~128,000 Philadelphia 6.3M ~127,000 Phoenix 5.2M ~104,000 Total (Top 10) 88.2M ~1.78 million

To simultaneously hold just the top ten metros, the U.S. military would need about 1.8 million troops on the ground.

What the U.S. Military Actually Has

* Active duty total (all branches): ~1.3 million

* Reserves & National Guard: ~760,000

* Grand total: ~2.07 million uniformed personnel

But here’s the catch:

* Not all of these are combat troops. Large portions are in the Navy and Air Force, who aren’t structured for urban policing.

* Of the Army and Marine Corps, only a fraction are deployable at any given moment—others are in training, logistics, or specialized roles.

* Even if you mobilized every Guardsman and Reservist, you could not keep 1.8 million troops continuously deployed in cities. Troops need rotation, rest, logistics, and replacements.

The Inescapable Math

* Holding city-proper populations (just the incorporated limits) is difficult but theoretically possible for a handful of large cities.

* Holding metro regions (which is what actually matters, since unrest spreads across commuting zones) is well beyond U.S. capabilities.

* At 20 troops per 1,000 residents, the U.S. could manage a few metros at a time—but certainly not all ten, let alone the nation as a whole.

If resistance were intense, the requirement could climb to 30 per 1,000, pushing the need for the top 10 metros alone past 2.6 million troops—more than the entire U.S. uniformed military combined.

Why It Matters

The conclusion is stark: nationwide martial law is impossible. Even a targeted attempt to lock down the ten largest metropolitan areas would outstrip the military’s manpower. Any talk of the U.S. government “taking over the entire country” under martial law ignores the hard arithmetic of troop density, sustainment, and logistics.

The U.S. military alone cannot do it.

Just a quick video to respond to the Alex Jones Show I heard today. Bottomline, he is lying or he admitted to a federal crime on air. One of the two.

Federal Grand Jury Secrecy Rules: What You Need to Know

Federal grand juries operate under strict secrecy requirements. The primary authority is Rule 6(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure (Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e)), which governs what can and cannot be disclosed about proceedings.

Key Rules on Disclosure

* Secrecy Requirement: All matters before a grand jury are confidential, including the existence of an investigation, testimony, evidence, and deliberations.

* Who Must Keep It Secret: Prosecutors, court staff, interpreters, stenographers, and the jurors themselves are legally bound to secrecy.

* Exceptions: Disclosure is permitted only in narrow situations, such as by court order, when necessary for government attorneys or investigators performing official duties, or when information is shared with another grand jury.

* Witnesses: Witnesses may speak about their own testimony, but they cannot reveal what other witnesses said, what questions were asked, or details of the jury’s deliberations.

What Happens if Someone Violates Rule 6(e)?

Breaking grand jury secrecy is not just frowned upon — it can be a federal crime. Possible charges include:

* Contempt of Court (18 U.S.C. § 401): Courts can punish anyone who disobeys Rule 6(e) secrecy obligations with fines or imprisonment.

* Obstruction of Justice (18 U.S.C. §§ 1503, 1512, 1519): Leaking grand jury information with intent to interfere in an investigation or proceeding can lead to felony charges for obstructing justice.

* Unauthorized Disclosure by Federal Employees (18 U.S.C. § 1905): Government employees who improperly release confidential information can face fines and imprisonment.

* Conspiracy Charges (18 U.S.C. § 371): If multiple people coordinate to leak or misuse grand jury material, they can be prosecuted for conspiracy.

Bottom Line

Under Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e), secrecy is the foundation of the federal grand jury process. Violating these rules isn’t just an ethical breach — it can expose you to serious criminal charges, including contempt, obstruction of justice, or conspiracy.

Folks, with all the talk lately about the U.S. potentially taking serious action against the cartels down in Mexico, it’s time to get honest about the possibility of retaliation right here at home. Cartels aren’t just a rough bunch of guys south of the border—they’re intelligent, well-funded operations with the history, capability and ability to disrupt everyday life, especially if they feel threatened!

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5442985-donald-trump-pentagon-military-force-drug-cartels/

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/saraharnold/2025/08/08/trump-signed-a-directive-for-the-pentagon-to-take-military-action-against-latin-american-drug-cartels-n2661569

https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/trump-administration-eyes-military-action-against-drug-cartels-us-officials-say-2025-08-08/

Here’s what you need to know and what I recommend you do:

* Take Personal Security Seriously: If you’re not already, start carrying legally where it’s allowed. Get quality training—don’t just buy a holster and call it good. Make sure your family knows safety protocols so nobody is left guessing if things get dicey. Also make sure that you are signed up with a prepaid Defense Attorney service like Firearms Legal Protection.

* Prepare for Power Grid Disruptions: Our electrical grid has vulnerabilities and the Cartels know it. They have attacked power grids in Mexico in the past and could do so here as well. I strongly urge you to have a backup power plan—generators, solar options, or whatever fits your situation. Even a little preparedness can make a huge difference if infrastructure is targeted.

* Stay Situationally Aware: Cartels could strike any number of “soft targets”: public gatherings, infrastructure, community spaces. Keep your head on a swivel—if something feels off, trust your gut and take appropriate action. Also make sure you are prepared to be a first responder. I recommend Refuge Medical as the first stop for all of your trauma kits and first aid needs! Use code RealitySurvivial to save 10% off at checkout.

* Consider the Ripple Effect: Don’t ignore the risk that cartels might collaborate with extremist groups here in the US. They have immense funding capability and it is very likely that they will begin to fund civili unrest protests here in the US, if they haven’t already. That kind of chaos can escalate fast and in ways you might not expect. Watch my playlist on How To Master Situational Awareness, to brush up on some skills.

* Keep Your Readiness Up: Double-check your gear—medical kits, water filtration, comms, and food supplies. It’s not about panic—it’s about common sense and looking out for yourself and your loved ones.

My goal here isn’t to scare anyone, but to open your eyes and get you ready. Many people think that all of the violence will stay south of the border and wont effect us here at home. I do not think that will be the case. Stay sharp, keep your gear in order, and don’t make the mistake of thinking this kind of event “can’t happen here.” If you’ve got questions or want to share your own tips, let’s get the discussion going in the comments below!

Stacking supplies helps make you more ready for many things—but what about a real in person confrontation? As the world get more crazy and violent, the likelihood of having an altercation with a mentally unstable person also gets higher. I see these people walking the streets daily, I know you do as well. We need to be able to deal with them without having to resort to lethal options like a firearm.

So today we are interviewing a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and unpacking why BJJ needs a place in every prepper’s readiness training. It’s not about “winning fights”; it’s your blueprint for surviving the worst day of your life. Which will empower you to fight off bigger opponents, keep family safe, and stay cool when things get real. Whether you’re new to martial arts or building out your toolkit, BJJ is one important aspect to the hands on self defense training that should not be overlooked. As the protectors of our family we need to be able to face whatever situations come our way at a moments notice and learning BJJ gives you some great non-lethal options.

Id like to thank Jesse for coming on the show today and ask you guys to take a look at his Youtube channel and like and subscribe if you think he is passing along valuable information! You can subscribe to Jesse’s Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTm_hcFyiktjpsSVVhAlwfQ

If there is a total grid collapse and chaos ensues, silence may be your best defense! But what happens in more realistic situations when your home is the only one on the block still glowing? In this video, we tackle a burning question from the prepping community: Does having a whole house generator make you a magnet for danger in an SHTF scenario?

Click the video above to join me as I break down the pros, cons, as I see them for most realistic situations of running backup power when things fall apart.

The next monthly giveaway for paid subscribers will be an EMP Shield Micro!
