Friends, I'm sharing this in honor of my friend Louie Anderson, an extraordinary human with an enormous heart. It's the talk that sparked our friendship. Louie and I hit it off right away, as you'll see here. He came back on the show again later. We even tried out a new entertainment project together (mixed reviews on that; maybe I'll tell you about it someday). But more importantly, we became friends. I'll miss his phone calls and text messages. I'll miss him calling me when I was at the beach or running errands. I'll miss texting him every time I think about him just to say I love him. I'll miss his big heart. I'll miss his joking and his laughter, his emotions and his sensitivity. There wasn't enough time.

Here's my second talk with Louie, which he liked to call "Part 2 with Lou" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xw8dd4bFkJo

I'll be sharing personal photos on Instagram, when I catch my breath. You'll find them here - https://www.instagram.com/karamayerrobinson/

You won't believe what US Olympic champion Apolo Ohno is up to now. Hint: He did a hard pivot.

In today's talk we catch up on what Apolo, who's the most decorated US winter Olympics athlete of all time, has been up to, his ups and downs on the road to becoming a speed skating champion, his wild childhood, including supremely unique stories involving how his dad motivated him to do better, how he handled fame back in the day and what he does about fame now, secrets behind the Olympics, and key psychological principles he practices now that he wants to share with you.

In honor of tonight's ABC special presentation of Diff'rent Strokes + The Facts of Life, I'm re-airing my talk with Todd Bridges from last year.

Todd has been through the ringer. But he's come out OK. I won't bury the lead: He has 29 years clean and sober. We get into that, and I found out the hard way why he bristles at interviews.

You'll hear about:

• Where he is now
• Who he is now
• What he went up against
• Why he's media-averse
• His new HBO documentary, Showbiz Kids
• Diff'rent Strokes
• What you talkin about, Willis?
• Little House on the Prairie
• Roots
• Scott Baio
• Fame
• Black Lives Matter
• racism
• being targeted by the police
• emotional damage
• his experiences with sexual abuse
• how he rebounded
• how fake Hollywood can be
• his favorite TV shows
• my favorite TV shows
• family, kids and why he's a homebody

Jason Ritter (Parenthood, Gravity Falls, Joan of Arcadia) and I have a beautifully honest (and fun!) conversation in this classic episode from 2019.

Fun Fact: I wanted Jason to be a guest on Really Famous since the day I started it. You'll find out why.

And...I was right! I knew I'd like getting to know him better. I predict you will, too.

You'll hear us talk about:

• Parenthood - why he loved it, which scenes made him cry (as a viewer!)
• People, perfection and the real deal
• The downside of potential
• Growing up with a very famous dad (actor Jason Ritter)
• What happened after his dad died
• Embarrassment and the Golden Rule
• Why he stopped drinking
• AA
• ADHD
• Therapy
• Fame (then vs. now)
• Our favorite TV shows
• The Bachelor
• The Carbonaro Effect
• Game of Thrones
• A few of his heroes who were guests on Really Famous:
  • Joe Mantegna
  • Michael Ian Black
  • Michael Carbonaro
