Rebecca Pittenger's Podcast of Weird Songs

This is a song about wanting to write a song about friends. I dunno if this is a rough demo of a song I'll do later, or if this is just plain what it is. Yeah, I dunno yet. I'll see how it all sits with me.

This is a song about how, when you write a really good song, the song that comes after it usually isn't as good as the first one. I wrote this song after I wrote the Bears song I did a while back.

Willie's bong and all the weed in this song applies to weed in California where it's legal.

This is the song where the me-character in the possession saga starts to become confused and thinks she's a fire goddess. She's all confused about that cuz she's starting to confuse her identity with the fire god who is possessing her.

This is another version of the sad song I posted a few weeks ago. It's Father O'Malley's rendition of it. It sounds the most like the dream I got it from. It sounds almost exactly like the dream I got this song from, this sad, sad song.

This is the song where the girl realizes she and the fire god have the same death song. She gets scared that if they sing it together, she'll end up going up to the sun with him, cuz that's where he's from.

The bong being smoked in this song is in California, where it's legal.

Here's another Christmas song! It's sorta about how we get all wrapped up in stress and buyin' presence and forget what Christmas was originally about.

This is a Christmas song, sung from the point of view of a person who wants to put brandy in her eggnog, but finds she doesn't have any. She has to put whiskey in, instead.

This song is about the fire god feeling homesick; he sings his death song cuz he thinks that'll bring him home. It's a wee confusing cuz his death song is identical to the me-character's death song.

There's a cat in it; her name is Lulu. I had to change the pitch of her meows because they were originally in F sharp major and the song is in F minor.

In this song, all the characters - me, Timmy, Bobby, Father O'Malley, and the fire god, sing this song together. It speaks of deep hopelessness.

This dumb song didn't get posted when I tried to post it so I'm trying again. The other mix is crappy so listen to this one insteaddddd
