After working there for 8 years he took a position as the National Clinical Coordinator for the HIV, Hep C, and STI program serving the American Indian position through Indian Health Services (IHS).

Andrew takes us through his nursing journey and really highlights his passion for the HIV patient community. He shares with us what his current job entails and how you can get involved with this patient population if that is your passion as well.

Ryan started his nursing career by obtaining his Bachelor's in Nursing degree from The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, 2nd degree accelerated program. He and his family then moved back to San Diego, CA, where he started his career. He started in the ER and then transitioned to an educator.

Ryan takes us through his nursing journey and how he came to start his own Home IV infusion company, Float. Not only did he start his own company with 2 co-founders, but they participated in start-up training program in Silicon Valley that very few entrepeneurs are chosen for - which is tremendous! This week I am interviewing Bobbi Jo O'Neal. She is currently serving as the elected coroner in Charleston County, Charleston, South Carolina. As an experienced emergency room nurse who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, she became actively involved in the specialty of forensic nursing first in the area of sexual assault then as a death investigator. Coroner O'Neal has been a death investigator since 1998 and is currently the President of the International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IACME) and the President of the South Carolina Coroner's Association (SCCA). She is the author of the book "Investigating Infant Deaths" and has had the unfortunate distinction of working two mass fatalities in the Charleston area to include the massacre at the Mother Emanual Church.

I am so excited for you all to hear her nursing story and learn more about this unexpected (at least for me) specialty within the nursing profession.
