8 Types of Love According to the Ancient Greeks
Agape — Unconditional Love. First, we have agape love.
Eros — Romanic Love. Eros is named after the Greek god of love and fertility.
    Philia — Affectionate Love.
    Philautia — Self-love.
    Storge — Familiar Love.
    Pragma — Enduring Love.

    The 5 Love Languages
    1. Words of Affirmation
Some people want to hear “I love you” or other positive compliments from their partner. And if they don’t hear it, then they might feel unloved.
    2. Acts of Service
Doing nice things for other people is called an “act of service.” Whether it’s changing someone’s oil, cleaning the house, or giving a back rub, doing things to help make the other person happy is what this one is about.
    3. Receiving Gifts
Some people value giving and receiving gifts, and some do not. So, if you measure your partner’s love by how many gifts you are given, then your love language is “receiving gifts.”
    4. Quality Time
Other people measure the quality of their love by how much time their significant other wants to spend with them. If they don’t get enough “together time,” then they might feel unloved.
    5. Physical Touch
Finally, some individuals associate love with physical touch. Anything from hand-holding to cuddling, and even sex count as “physical touch.”

    • Self pt 2

      Black wall st.

      • The Black Wall Street may refer to Greenwood, Tulsa, Oklahoma, a neighborhood containing many African-American businesses in the early 20th century. Tulsa race riot of 1921, in which a white mob destroyed much of Greenwood.
      • As one of the most prominent concentrations of African-American businesses in the United States during the early 20th century, it was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street" until the Tulsa race riot of 1921, in which white residents massacred as many as 300 black residents, injuring hundreds more, and razed.
      • On June 1, 1921, the Tulsa Tribune reported that nine white people and 68 black people had died in the riot, but shortly afterward it changed this number to a total of 176 dead. The next day, the same paper reported the count as nine white people and 21 black people.
      • The blue baby syndrome can refer to a number of conditions that affect oxygen transportation in the blood, resulting in the blueness of the skin in babies. Historically, the term "blue baby syndrome" has referred to babies with one of two conditions,

        • 1. Cyanotic heart disease, which is a category of congenital heart defect that results in low levels of oxygen in the blood. This can be caused by either reduced blood flow to the lungs or the mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
        • 2. Methemoglobinemia, which is a disease defined by high levels of methemoglobin in the blood. Increased levels of methemoglobin prevent oxygen from being released into the tissues and result in hypoxemia.
        • Vivien Theodore Thomas (August 29, 1910 – November 26, 1985)  was an African-American laboratory supervisor who developed a procedure used to treat blue baby syndrome (now known as cyanotic heart disease) in the 1940s.

          5 LOVE LANGUAGES:

Do you know the 5 Love Languages? Here they are:

          l. Words of affirmation – using words to build up the other person. “Thanks for

taking out the garbage.” Not – “It’s about time you took the garbage out. The

flies were going to carry it out for you.”

          2. Gifts – a gift says, “He was thinking about me. Look what he got for me.”

          3. Acts of Service – Doing something for your spouse that you know they would

like. Cooking a meal, washing dishes, vacuuming floors, are all acts of service.

          4. Quality time – by which I mean, giving your spouse your undivided attention.

Taking a walk together or sitting on the couch with the TV off – talking and

          listening.

          5. Physical touch – holding hands, hugging, kissing, sexual intercourse, are all

          expressions of love.
