Nets Media Day started off the official NBA preseason and there’s plenty to talk about with the Steve Nash and Kevin Durant interviews that went up. They were decidedly two different guys answering questions about the team today, but it was easy to come away with tons of optimism from both. 

Steve Nash gave an top down view of the Nets, what his role will be, the collaborative approach to coaching and what the Nets style will be. It was a fantastic window into what the team is thinking going into the season. It was hard to not walk away feeling very confident about how things are run. 

And they have to mention the unbelievable excitement about the Nets playing on Christmas Day this season at the start of the year.
