Self-Care is defined as the process of taking care of oneself, and it truly is such an important part of life.
If we don’t show up for ourselves, and take the time to make sure we are cared for, how can we possibly help everybody around us?
When people think of self-care, they tend to assume it means taking an entire spa day, spending lots of money, or maybe having a fancy meal. While these are all great activities, they are not always realistic and tend to not fit in with our day to day lives.
I don’t know about you, but being a mom of two boys doesn’t give me extra time or funds to take a weekly spa trip. I know others may also feel this way which is why I wanted to bring this podcast episode to life. We will be learning all about realistic self-care, from what it means to examples of how to practice it.
