當我們遇到困難時，神在哪裡？Where is God in our troubles?

當工作如同奴役時，神與他同在（第1-6節) God is with his people when work feels like slavery (1-6)

當祂的子民受到性的誘惑時，神與他同在（第6-12節） God is with his people when harassed by sexual temptation (6-12)

當祂的子民被錯誤地監禁時，神與他同在（第13-23節）God is with his people when wrongfully imprisoned (13-23)

在基督裡，神與祂的百姓在艱難的環境中同在，實現祂慈愛的目的（第21節） In Christ, God is with his people in hard places bringing about his loving purposes (v.21)

神要的先決條件（第1-4節) The Prerequisite of God (vv. 1-4).

年輕人，要小心與誰交往（第1節 ) Young people, be careful who you connect with (v. 1).

基督徒也可能行惡（第13-29節）Christians can also act wickedly (vv. 13-29).

父親們，請在家中發揮正確的領導作用（第1、5-7、30-31節）Fathers, take proper leadership in your home (vv. 1, 5-7, 30-31).

當怕別人影響我們的計劃並挑戰我們對神的信靠 (vv 1b-3) When Fear of Man Informs our Plans and Challenges our Trust in God (vv. 1b-3).

堅決的恩典：神是有目的的，因為祂為雅各的靈魂而戰  Resolute Grace: God was Purposeful, as He battled for Jacob’s soul.

無情的恩典：神是堅持不懈的，祂不會失敗 Ruthless Grace: God was Persistent, He will not fail.

更新的恩典：神正在練淨、改變雅各的品格 Renewing Grace: God was Purifying, changing Jacob’s character.

改革的恩典：神毀滅雅各時, 祂感受到痛苦 Reforming Grace: God was Painful, as He wrecked Jacob.

我們的現實：我們相信神和祂的話語，而不是我們自己或世界（林前 1：18-2：5）Our Reality: We trust in God and His Word, not ourselves nor the world (1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5).

我們的責任：我們堅持使命，不被小事所誘惑（林後 5：11-21）Our Responsibility: We stay on mission, not lured to lesser things (2 Corinthians 5:11-21).

我們的決心：即使在患難或逼迫中，我們也不灰心（林後 4:7-18）Our Resolve: We do not lose heart, not even in affliction or persecution (2 Corinthians 4:7-18).
