This week, Corrie Guckenberger, a missionary with Back2Back Ministries shares her testimony from years on the mission field. Using Isaiah 43:1b-3a and verses from the book of Hosea, Corrie talks about lessons she has learned about "Fallow Ground" in her own life; those places of life in which we focus on our attitudes and actions, and not on God's truth. If we view our lives like a tree where our attitudes and actions are the branches and the fruit, growing up out of the trunk of our self image, the part that is not shown are the roots of what is feeding into that self image. If we want true change to happen we need to address the roots, not the actions themselves, and enrich uncultivated ground with God's truth.
