This week the Executive Office of Immigration Reform, also known as the Immigration Courts, published a memo that aims to fast track removal cases. I immediately thought of former Immigration Judge Paul A. DeFonzo who was very meticulous and deliberate in how he handled his docket. I was able to get ahold of him and he agreed to come on the show. Judge DeFonzo explains how and why he believes the Immigration Courts should be reformed and shares his unique perspective as an IJ who came from the private bar.
