Sober October is over and Jeff's been drinking. This movie was actually pretty cool and I kinda liked it. It's the wrap up to our slasher and horror month and we checked out a neat movie called Lights Out.
I feel like we need one of these more and more every damn day I get behind the wheel of my car or I watch someone try to use the self checkout line for the first time. Kaity and I watched the Purge and it was rather disappointing. I thought there'd be more purging.
On this episode of Reel Garbage the luck of the irish couldn't pull this piece of shit out of the trash can. What a horrible excuse for a movie. My one quarter irish part was offended by the horrible accent on this sad excuse for a leprechaun. I wanted to punt this little bastard over the rainbow and shove his "bag" of gold up his ass. It sure was fun to rip on it though.
SPOILER ALERT!! SPOILER ALERT!! Don't listen if you haven't seen it. We both happened to go see this movie on the same day and decided to record an impromptu review of it.
On this episode of Reel Garbage we head back to the 80s for a slasher film that definitely cut us up in a hilarious way. Conor Runnings joined me for a very predictable trip down memory lane with the original Friday the 13th. It definitely did not stand the test of time at all.
On this episode of Reel Garbage we said Candyman into the mirror five times and had to watch this piece of shit. Not gonna lie it scared the shit out of me as a kid but it hasn't held up well. You be the judge, we definitely were. We also talk about Thai massage, the benefits of being sober and the terrifyingly realistic dreams one has when abstaining from cannabis. It's been a wild week!
Not ten! Not eleven! You'd better believe it ain't twelve!!! No no NO! Thirteen Ghosts was the movie on the chopping block, seeing as how it's almost halloween and all we thought we'd start the scary movies now. This one was terrible and alright at the same time. Not sure why Matthew Lillard always seems like he's shouting.
On this episode of Reel Garbage we revisiting a classic title from an earlier episode with a new age spin on it and it actually wasn't disappointing. We checked out the remake of CHILD'S PLAY and I tell ya, Mark Hammill voicing the creepiest looking kids doll ever was pretty disturbing. And Aubrey Plaza is easy on the eyes. I was impressed, were you? Tune in to see what we had to say about this pretty decent remake right now.
On this episode of Reel Garbage we take a look at the weather.....control device.....keeping the earth from being destroyed? Really?....(sigh).....oh god. Gerard Butler pilots this horrible piece of trash right into the garbage bin. It's awful....just awful.
On this episode of Reel Garbage we go way back to the early 90s and the great Kevin Costner back in his hay day shooting fire arrows and flying on catapults. This movie has a special place in my heart, I still love the shit out of it and so did Zach Lewis. We tell you all about it on this episode so fire it up and join us for a good time.
