REEL INDIGENOUS
Mohegan theater-maker Madeline Sayet joins us for an intimate visit about her one-person show traveling with the Folgers's Shakespeare, her pink hat, how she has no idea how to self-care, and what it's like to be the lone Native in the theater space, fighting to be heard. She even shares a scene from Where We Belong, the story of her travel to England, retracing her Mohegan ancestors visits there during the early days of colonialism.

Opinions are like elbows, most everyone has them. We just happen to say them on a podcast and hope that people listen. But what does film criticism actually mean? We talk shop and the gang's all here, even our two New Mexico peeps!
For this Indigenous People's Day, we have a very good Indigenous person as a guest on our podcast. Freelance journalist, rights advocate, generally someone who's mad on the internet (and with Stitt as governor, who wouldn't be?) and big fan of "Reservation Dogs", we welcome Frances Danger.
In this episode, we give big love to all things "Reservation Dogs", and talk about the love of all things Indigenous.
Thanks for listening.
Especially for this Indigenous People's Day, you don't just keep it real, you keep it
