Eric Bieniemy has been hired as the new offensive coordinator with the Washington Commanders. He was also given the title as Assistant Head Coach. He left the Kansas City Chiefs as a 2 time Super Bowl winner. He also left the league's best quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, a first ballot Hall of Fame tight end in Travis Kelce and the #1 offense to come to Washington to a team with essentially a rookie 5th round quarterback, a depleted offensive line and an offense that hasn't ranked in the Top 15 in more than 5 years.
So what are we to expect with Eric Bieniemy? Is he going to come in a fix the offense immediately? Will he turn Sam Howell into a Pro Bowl quarterback? What does it mean for the future of the entire franchise?
