Also, Magic Johnson has been added to the Josh Harris group as a minority investor.  Is this a last gasp effort for the group to try to win the bid or is it simply a way to spice up their winning bid in the eyes of the league who is desperate to show diversity?

But what could be seen the most divisive move so far, free agent quarterback Taylor Heinicke signed a 2 year deal with the Atlanta Falcons that could be worth up to $10M per year.  Apparently the Commanders were unwilling to commit that sort of money to their backup QB.
