Ref the District

Nathan is back this week and gives his thoughts on the Niners game. Then he and Trev talk about the mascot reveal and how that's gone so far for the team. Last the Ref team talks about Carson Wentz getting the starting nod and how that was the right decision.

The Ref team breaks down who will be available for the Commanders as they take on the Browns. This game is practically a playoff game for Washington and the guys talk about what needs to happen with Carson Wentz starting this week. Here's a hint: RTDB.

After a good first half with the score tied 7-7, the Commanders fell apart in the 2nd half and fall to the San Francisco 49ers 37-20.  So much to talk about with this game.

In the 4th quarter, Carson Wentz replaced Taylor Heinicke.  What does that mean going forward?  How did Chase Young play in his first game in 13 months after an ACL injury? Did the defense give up 37 points because Kam Curl was out?

We'll talk about that and so much more on Day After Reckoning!

The Commanders came off a bye week and looked like the tired team.  The New York Giants defeated the Commanders 20-12 in a game full of mistakes, turnovers, penalties and botched officiating.

Believe it or not, the Commanders still control their own destiny.  So let this one go and start thinking about San Francisco.

Oh wait, what to do at QB?

We'll talk all about this tonight on this edition of Day After Reckoning.

The bye week was a big win for the Washington Commanders.  Going into the much needed week off, the Commanders were in the 8th position in the NFC.
That's also known as the 1st team OUT of the playoffs.

However, both the Giants and Seahawks lost in Week 13 which allowed the Commanders to move into the 6th playoff spot and the 2nd Wild Card position.

Now it's time to focus on the New York Giants for the 2nd week in a row.  The Giants are in a free fall.  But they always play tough against Washington, especially Daniel Jones.  What do the Commanders need to do to pull off the victory and cement themselves in the playoff race with 3 games left?  What is the status of injured players like Chase Young, Benjamin St. Juste, Carson Wentz and so many more?

We'll talk about that and much more on Episode 99 of Ref The District!
