Ref the District

The Washington Football Team threw away its chance to make the playoffs after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 20-16. Washington had a chance late to score, but Taylor Heinike's pass was intercepted. 

The Ref the District team breaks down the game and where Washington should go from here with just one game left in the season.

After a brutal loss to division rival Dallas, Washington looks to right the ship and maybe save their season against their next division foe, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles had their way the last time these two teams met, will the Football Team be able to stop Jalen Hurts and the run game? The Ref the District team will discuss how the game will play out with JC Eagles Talk. 

The Washington Football Team went to Texas to face the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys humiliated Washington 56-14.  Washington was without 11 starters due to either injury or COVID-19 protocols. It was one of the team's worst performances in years, culminating in Jonathan Allen throwing a punch at teammate Daron Payne after Payne stuck his finger at Allen's head.  A low moment of the season.

The Washington Football team endured a tumultuous week dealing with up to 23 players on the COVID-19 list.  After waiting until the last minute to see if either QB's Taylor Heinicke or Kyle Allen would be cleared to play, the WFT had to settle on Gary Gilbert to start.  Gilbert had been with the team for 5 days by the time the game was played, 2 days later than originally scheduled.

The boys from Ref the District sit down to discuss the 27-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with DMV Sports 3.  After they get all of that out of their system, they'll once again get ready for this Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.  They'll welcome back Shady Katie (@Katie_Maricle) to preview the game.

The Washington Football Team is dealing with an outbreak of COVID-19 with at least 24 players added to the IR/COVID list in the last 2 weeks.  This includes their top 2 quarterbacks.  With that in mind, the NFL has decided to reschedule the game for Tuesday, December 21st at 7 PM.  Philadelphia Eagles fans are big mad as they will only have 4 days to get ready for the lowly New York Giants.

The boys come together to talk about this important NFC East matchup and how this reschedule affects both teams.

After a valiant but failed effort to come back versus the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Football Team goes back on the road to visit the Philidelphia Eagles.  The boys from Ref The District will break down this all important division matchup. The Eagles are coming off a bye week but have still not announced who will be their starting quarterback, Jalen Hurts or Gardner Minshew.

 The boys will also talk about the struggling Washington Wizards and the first place Washington Capitals. 

The Washington Football Team's winning streak ends in disappointing fashion.  After Taylor Heinicke struggled for most of the game, Kyle Allen came in after Taylor injured his knee to light a fire under the Washington Football Team.  However, his crucial fumble late in the game sealed the Dallas Cowboys' 27-20 win.  The guys discuss the team's defeat at the hands of their division rivals and hated foes, the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys head into Washington to face one of the NFL's hottest teams at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland just outside of our nation's capital, Washington DC.
Washington is coming off a hard fought 17-15 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon while Dallas finished the New Orleans Saints 27-17.
The Cowboys are 8-4 and sit comfortably atop the NFC East and hope to fend off the defending NFC East champion Washington Football Team who are riding a 4 game winning streak and are now 2 games back of Dallas at 6-6.
The boys from Ref The District will break down this all important division matchup with noted Cowboys superfan Katie Maricle and will also talk about the struggling Washington Wizards and the first place Washington Capitals.
