Colman Domingo directed this week's new episode of Fear the Walking Dead airing Sunday night, October 25th at 8 Pm Central time on AMC. We talked to Colman Domingo about his 5 seasons of work on Fear the Walking Dead as Victor Strand and his time now behind the camera on the show. Henry County Board Chairman Marshall Jones joined WKEI on Friday's edition of Tuned In. The Chairman was on hand to wrap up a rather uneventful Henry County Board Meeting on Thursday evening. Among the most important topics were staffing at Hillcrest Home and newly available loans for Henry County businesses struggling with the COVID-19 economic crisis. Mr Jones advised businesses that the County has revolving loan fund and CURES fund money to loan right away for any business that has been negatively affected by the economic impact of the Coronavirus.

RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Department joined WKEI on Thursday for our twice weekly COVID-19 Podcast. Today we discussed the latest COVID-19 Recovery Rate Data in Henry and Stark County. The Health Department is now releasing isolation data as well and we asked RaeAnn Tucker about these new measurements during today's show. We also talked about the growing state wide positivity rate which, if it continues to rise, currently at 5.7%, could trigger the whole state to rollback to restrictions from Phase 3 of the Governor's re-opening plan.

The Kewanee Public Library Storybook Pumpkins have begun to trickle into to the kids area at the library and the results so far have been incredible. Families are invited to paint or glue on decorations on pumpkins and bring them to the Kewanee Public Library to be displayed. Prizes for the best decorated pumpkin will be handed out and the theme is literary heroes, specifically, children's literary heroes. Drop off your decorated pumpkin during regular hours at the Kewanee Public Library this week. No carved pumpkins please.
