Wrecks are usually caused by two things: bad decisions and dangerous behaviors. In relationships, bad decisions and dangerous behaviors also cause relationships to wreck. And that wreckage is very painful. Wrecked relationships make it hard for us to trust again. The pain from the last wreck still burns and even though we want to move on, it’s incredibly difficult. Relational wreckage is hard to get over especially when it comes to our marriages. So we have to stay away from bad decisions and dangerous behaviors and begin to restore our marriages.
