    Topic: Will & Jada

Despite the men not really wanting to tackle this topic, they definitely took one for the team and went all-in on this episode. The crew mostly agrees that Will and Jada’s current situation is rooted in toxicity; however, the men feel that Jada has lost her status as #wifegoals. The ladies recognize that there were indiscretion and manipulation, but they aren’t completely demonizing Jada either. Is everyone a victim in this scenario? Was the look on Will’s face pain or embarrassment? Or both? Does Jada’s choice of words reveal that she justifies her decision? Listen to this episode to get the answers to each of these questions, and find out who Nique says recently got help from our Black Table Talk. All this and more on this week’s mid-week episode.

    Topic: Communicating Needs

This week’s episode is about Needs. How and when should we communicate our needs to our significant other, and at what point during the dating stage should this conversation occur? C.L. says you have to know what your needs are, and Nique suggests that those needs should be communicated during the talking stage. Yusuf cautions that if a person has a need that requires a partner to change, it's only going to work if that person sees the value in the change. Teisha contends that when two people agree to be in a relationship, each partner should come to the table being open and willing to try and meet the other’s needs. Listen to the show to find out who mentions slow-talking, who says that women feel owed after sex, who says a person doesn’t have to show compassion to show respect, and who says she doesn’t want to be the leader in a relationship. Each team member shares one of his/her own personal needs in a relationship and discusses why this is important. This and so much more in this episode!
