Maria's story is one of physical, mental and sexual abuse. Do you know that 17% or one out of approximately every six woman who had a stepfather as a principal figure in her childhood lives, was sexually abused by him. Maria was one of the six! Terrible that a young girl not even close to being a women yet has to be scarred for their inability to control their sick minds. Another study was made for biological fathers and biological fathers were 2% or one out of approximately 40 women. Lady's if your a single mom with a daughter, be extremely careful whom you hook up with or marry. Men who show interests in you maybe looking at your baby too! You ever had a conversation with someone man or woman, out in the sunlight both of you sporting some cool shades and wondered what their eyes look like and for that matter if they are even looking at you or are their eyes just wondering?  As a sign of respect I will remove my cool shades for anyone I meet for the first time and if they don't remove theirs then that alone would tell me a lot about their character. We either live with a selfless person who would give you the world or we live with a selfish son of a bitch who thinks only about themselves and cares a less about you! Take a good look at yourself and the relationship you find yourself in, is it as rosy as you paint it to the world or are you just fooling yourself.  It takes courage, strength and will power to get yourself out of the abusers control and I hope to give you that courage!!
