Don’t make excuses!
There are so many things that we can procrastinate about and we can come up with so many different excuses for why we are not doing something. But the actual reason why we procrastinate is really quite simple: We believe that taking action will cause us a certain amount of pain.
We procrastinate because we all have too much to do
We want to dodge things we don’t like.
Set deadlines. Increase rewards. Involve others. Create a habit.

Simon Sinek’s book “Start with Why”.
In it he looks at how great businesses like Apple inspire action and loyalty in both their employees and customers through first and foremost communicating the reason “Why” they are in business rather than the “What” or the “How”. Because before they ‘buy’ the thing that you do or the way that you do it your customers buy into the Reason Why you do it in the first place.
