In today's episode I wanted to take some time to discuss my thoughts and feelings around what is going on in our nation right now, how to move forward and what we can do. How do you show up? How do you show up for yourself, and for the people around you? What we do not only in moments like this, but in every moment of our lives leaves behind a footprint. What you do, matters. Welcome in.
In today’s episode I want to talk about something that I have been dealing with this year which is trying to find my creativity again. Being creative and having a purpose of this in my life is one of my driving forces so what happens when that fades? What happens when life catches up to you and you're forced to start over. I talk about what going back to basics means, and what tools we have as humans to find your creativity again. This is so important, and so real with our lives right now. Welcome in.
In today's episode I sat to talk about how finding your identity, choosing to live in that authentically and then sharing that with others is the path to peace. In a society that steers us in clear directions since birth, the greatest thing we can do is to step off the normal path and into what sets our souls on fire. To step into our passions and find peace with ourselves is what brings us closer together. It's been a long path to finding my own identity but rounding into my 30's I can finally say. I think I found it. Welcome in.
In today's episode we talk about what it's like going through changing relationships after sobriety and mindset shifts. After I found myself dealing with newfound sobriety, a fresh mind, heightened vibrations and more awareness I was also dealing with a lot of my relationships shifting. Whether the slowly ended, abruptly ended, or simply evolved as I evolved I had a hard time dealing with these sudden losses of identity and community. We talk about how closing the page on certain chapters is healthy, while giving them the appreciation they still deserve. Welcome in.
In today's quickie episode I touch on a few of the lessons from my book. Do not diminish your light and your truth for anyone, and how connection and storytelling are key to living a fulfilled life. These are two lessons that go hand in hand so I dive into how finding your sense of belonging is tied to the beginning of what it means to connect to others and share our story. Welcome in.
In today's episode I talk about the concept of bittersweet and how the saddest emotions are tied into joy and pleasure. From Aristotle's time and earlier, we have wondered why those who are the darkest or most melancholy are also often the most brilliant and creative. In this discussion I dive into how longing and sorrow are actually what connect us the most and how compassion is drive of our survival. Welcome in!
In today's episode we talk about divine timing. The understanding that everything happens in the right time and has a purpose. Some big, some small. After about 6 months of limbo and hard lessons I stepped into a deeper understanding of what it means to flow, to sometimes put your hands up, look up to the sky and say 'Alright! F*** it, I let it go.' The not so subtle sort of letting go of a little control. Welcome in.
In today's episode we touch on attending events while either being sober curious, if you've been sober for a while and everything in between. As the world starts to open back up I think it's important to talk about what this looks like for people that are trying to cut back on their drinking or have been sober for a while. Welcome in.
In this episode we are talking about dealing with the changes life throws at you. I am coming out of 6 months of limbo, some really dark thoughts, a lot of anxiety and a few breakups. Life is messy, but here we can learn how to let go, let divine timing work and how to learn and process through all the change that we will always be going through. Welcome in.
In today's episode we sit back down with my brother, Denton Rone, to talk about young leadership. We discuss how we have managed to get as far in our careers at such a young age, the tools we use, and what we are still learning. Denton discusses how the military creates leaders and what we could use on the civilian side to improve leadership skills in youth. Welcome In.
