The explosive conclusion to the Red Rising Saga! With Darrow on the attack, the story of slavery, slaughter and sci-fi Romans comes to a head. With tensions high and loyalty in doubt, someone is bound to go nuclear...
The beginning of the end of Red Rising. Following his capture at the hands of the Jackal, Darrow continues his wacky hijinks across the galaxy. Mutilation, mayhem and (legally defensible) murder abound in this delightful romp that's fun for the whole family. There's some snow, some moons, and a whole lot more of Cassius' suffering. We had to split this episode into two parts, so that right there should tell you exactly how stupid this is going to be.
Doing his best to emulate the much beloved politics of the Star Wars prequels, Pierce Brown continues to amaze in the second book of his series. Darrow, now fully enveloped in Gold Society, graduates school (again), crashes a party, meets new and interesting people and brings new meaning to the phrase "make it rain".
A. American's first book in the long running series. A look at how one survivalist deals with the long trek back to his family after a global disaster, Going Home shows us the much smaller disasters we get to enjoy along the way. Emboldened by the heroic virtues of greed, bloodlust and righteous vengeance, one survivalist shows us all you need to flourish in this new world is some grit, some gumption and a backpack full of hope. Hope is what he calls his guns.
A review of the horror novel Ararat by Christopher Golden. A slasher tale of biblical proportions. How many grad students does it take to get to the center of Noah's ark? Who cares, just keep writing more in until we get there.
A look at V. E. Schwab's century spanning romance novel. For a book about the world’s most forgettable girl, Addie LaRue’s Faustian bargain definitely leaves an impression. Maybe not a good one but that's kind of the point of this show.
A review of Jonathan Maberry's action zombie novel, the book that asks the question: how far would you go to protect your country? The answer has less to do with philosophy and more to do with throat punching and eye gouges. Seriously, it's going to get violent.
