It's another Very Special Episode in the feed this week as Who Wants To Be A Guy-llionaire is presented by Host James featuring a pair of contestants squaring off in the spinoff's first ever Steel Cage Deathmatch: the challenger and friend of the show Jake vs. Reigning Guy-llionaire Brooks.
Categories in today's bout include Remember That Tune? (3:46), Harlem Guy-trotters (10:54), Sorry That We Failed You (21:23), and 69 or 420 (30:10); before it all culminates with the final question (44:03) that will determine which of these two leaves victorious (46:26).

Host Diaz remains a Globetrotter this week, but Host James and Very Special Guest Xavier are excited to bring on a basketball player who may not be from Harlem but has had quite a trip around the world: Austin Toros legend Luke Bonner!
After getting to hear about Luke's road through pro basketball in Europe and the States (20:24), the trio travel down some Country Roads to discuss a lot of landlocked Atlantic-10 Guys (46:10), but will their Guy-dom be sufficient for entry into the Hall? (1:00:10)

Host James and Very Special Guest Xavier are feeling a little down while Host Diaz is away, so they're bringing in someone to help them process their feelings: author of 2024's Mind Game: An Inside Look at the Mental Health Playbook of Elite Athletes, Julie Kliegman!
After getting to know a little more about Julie's work (15:22), the three of them get to work on knowing a little more about Julie's Guy (27:05) before the partial Guy-bunal weighs in on whether or not the Hall has a new entrant this week (48:34).

The Guy-bunal is ready to really go off the deep end this week as Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier try to keep their heads from swimming while discussing Water Sports Guys.
Xavier drains the swamp for a Guy who knows how to go along for the ride with style (23:34); Diaz proves once again that ball is life, even if that is a life aquatic (45:26); and James, despite going last, dives head on into their segment (1:04:56). When all is said and done, two of these Guys will sink while one treads long enough to swim into the Hall of Guy. (1:29:20)

Give 'em the beat, Guys, and remember their souls as Hosts James and Diaz welcome back Very Special Guest Xavier onto the show so that the Guy-bunal can again reconvene to discuss the category of Guys That Have Songs Written About Them.
James is the first to grab the aux cord with a song about the boxer who fought New Jersey (27:46); shuffle brings up Diaz with a globetrotter that was able to get over a sour note in his past (49:55); and Xavier wraps up the setlist with a song about a Guy with some golden pipes between the pipes (1:26:22). Three tunes can make a nice harmony, but only one Guy has a song that will echo through the Hall of Guy. (1:45:14)

Hosts James and Diaz sit down with Very Special Guest Xavier to talk about the Olympics some more.
They briefly talk about some other stuff (19:06), but really it's just about the Olympics. (29:57)

It's a Leap Year, it's an Election Year, and for the first time since 2016 it's a true Summer Olympics Year. To celebrate, the Guy-bunal takes a Summer Break as Hosts James and Diaz welcome Very Special Guest Xavier onto the show for a casual conversation about some of their most anticipated Olympic antics and events from the 2024 Paris Games.
James dives into equal opportunity synchronization (15:22); Xavier breaks down his new favorite sport (22:56); Diaz flags a future event for the audience to consider (33:01); Xavier has that same audience climb in for a sophomore event that rocks (39:08); the team, much like a summer thunderstorm, fire off a quick lightning round of some notes on other events (44:40); before James finishes up with one last point all about pointy ends (49:32). Then all that's left is to bid au revoir at our own closing ceremony. (54:13)

It's a centennial celebration and Hosts James and Diaz bring back Very Special Guest Xavier so that the Guy-bunal can commence the 10th edition of Reliti-Guy-tion.
James might be the one to get things kicked off (16:04); but it really takes off when Diaz gets the controls (20:56); followed by Xavier continuing some high flying acrobatics (24:07); and then watching from the periphery of more spectacular acrobatics (29:11); to distract from Diaz's bonehead move (32:55); that James is there to beautifully document photographically (39:48). But wait, there's more this time, as they go even further into the back catalogue to experience truly Mortal Kombat (45:10); experience agonizing defeat (51:04); and drive stylishly into the rising sun (54:50). All that's left is an unprecedented number of inductions into the Hall of Guy and like maybe just a little something else (1:01:50).

The Guy-bunal is diving back into rings discourse; but this time, when Hosts James and Diaz bring on Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss the rings of the Olympic variety as they delve into the topic of Guys In Previously Undiscussed Olympic Sports.
Diaz is the first one to get a hand on the ball discussing a princely Guy from Denmark (17:21); Xavier rides in after him, in a choreographed fashion (44:09); and James is the last to take a shot as they trot out a Guy who never won a bronze but did win for a bronze (1:05:36). All of these Guys received the honor of representing their countries in the Olympic games, but which will get the honor to continue that representation inside the prestigious Hall of Guy? (1:31:01)
Theme Music by Don Ham; additional audio from TV 2 Sport (DEN) and NBC Sports
It's time to make some decisions about the order in which we will make decisions, as the Guy-bunal reconvenes with Hosts James and Diaz welcoming back Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss Guys Involved In Draft Day Trades.
Going first overall, Xavier picks a hockey Guy who always brings pizza money (23:54); Diaz moves up to take a Guy who taught Philly how to see through time (52:45); and James hopes they found a late round gem with the original Workout Warrior (1:27:46). These Guys are famous for the stories around their selections, but which one will be selected to for the further fame that comes with enshrinement in the Hall of Guy? (1:53:25)
Theme Music by Don Ham; additional audio from The Price Is Right!, NBA TV, and Wake Wilder

What is Guy? Just ask Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart.
"I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of players I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description, but Guy know it when Guy see it".
