Martin in the wake of the devastating Dragon Bravo Fire, which destroyed the Grand Canyon Lodge, many of the historic cabins and so much of the surrounding landscape. In addition to her work for Arizona Highways, Amy worked for many years as a river guide and backcountry ranger at Grand Canyon National Park.
