So, Many. M. Macs! Also, get $25 off your cell phone bill at http://rene.ting.com !

No sooner did I post my thoughts on how Apple could scale M1 just all the way up to the top-of-the-line Mac Pro… then Bloomberg’s own Mark Gurman started dropping massive leak bombs about how Apple plans to do… well… just exactly that.

And of course, why not? It’s still 2020, after all… the Intel die shrink of years.

So, I’m going to go through all of it with you, just all of my analysis, live to camera, and I’m going to do it… right now.

Putting the M-Series in Mac Pro! Also, get $25 off your cell phone bill at http://rene.ting.com !

The Apple Silicon Mac Pro. Yeah, the… Raid Boss of Apple’s new M-series of Macintosh computers.

The biggest, the best, the badest, the most expensive, and almost certainly the last of Apple’s massive chipset transition.

So… how will an iPad-based system on a chip-scale all the way up to what’s currently a modular, massively multicore Xeon and AMD graphics card capable monster?

I have some ideas!

iMore’s managing editor, Lory Gil, and I talk all about Apple’s smallest flagship ever — the brand new, brand tiny iPhone 12 mini. The size, the features, and you better believe the battery life. What we like, what we don’t like, and where it needs to go next.

And, plot twist, where Lory’s going next. Because today is her very last day at iMore, and maybe her very last appearance on this channel. At least for a long while.

M1X & iPhone 13! Get CuriosityStream AND Nebula for less than $15/y (26% off!) https://curiositystream.com/reneritchie

There are a couple of new leaks out that are super interesting but also a couple of WTF ones that just once again prove 2020 is the… Exynos version of years.

So, I figured we’d play a new game called real, fake, and really fake.

That includes folded, periscope zooms coming to the iPhone, more benchmark stonks, M1X MacBook rumors, and MacBook redesign rumors.

Why, M1? Get CuriosityStream AND Nebula for less than $15/y (26% off!) https://curiositystream.com/reneritchie

In this video I’m going to tell you exactly why Apple’s brand new M1 chipset is just kicking the ever-loving silicon out of Intel right now, kicking them right out of the low power, entry-level Macs and, in some cases, posting results that just clown even higher power, higher-end PCs.

Why? Because of Apple's heavy investment in integrated, scalable architecture. That's what lets them cover all these products efficiently, without the complexity that would come from having to treat each one as a separate client.

And it also means M1 gets to leverage many of the same latest, greatest IP blocks as A14. Only the implementation differs.

In this video, my special guest, Jonathan Morrison of TLD fame and I are going over our experiences using the brand new, Apple Silicon-powered, M1 MacBook Pro. What we like about it, what we don’t, what works, what doesn’t, and most importantly, who should buy it now, and who should wait for the higher end, bigger screened versions coming next.

And we’re doing it… right now.

Yes, Apple has only just launched the iPhone 12 series. And, yes, it’s absolutely ridiculous that there are already rumors about the iPhone 13. But 2020 is basically the worst DCEU movie ever and 2021 might still be the Snyder Cut, so if you’re just trying to figure out what to buy and when, I’m going to help you out. By going through all the latest rumors and giving you my reactions to them. Live. And I’m going to do it right now.
