This Sunday we began a new series on Corinthians. Through the lens of Paul and his correspondence to the church of Corinth, Pastor Ulysses shows us how there will be difficult moments and relationships in the church. In all of this, the starting point of resolving these conflicts must be the grace of God. For we were all dead in sin until God gave his only son so we could be part of his family.

Our guest speaker Joey Wang explores three important ideas relating to Paul's message in 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. How to be unified as a church body, why we should not strive for conformity but diversity, and what it means to grow together as a supportive church community.

In this sermon, Pastor Ulysses goes over the meaning of baptism by illustrating the parallelism between Moses' parting of the Red Sea and Jesus' death on the cross. He then dives deeper into the purpose and importance of baptism as it pertains to the individual and the Church body.

As the church enters the post-pandemic era with increased apathy towards community and in-person attendance Pastor Ulysses leads us through the author of Hebrew's exhortation in chapter 10:25 to "not neglect to meet one another". Meeting not just for meeting's sake but because it unlocks our intimacy with God and reveals what God has done and what He is about to do to radically redefine our identity in Him.

What is Spiritual maturity and how do we measure it? If you have asked yourself this question Pastor Emerson Lin from Shahangai invites us to take heed to Paul's answer for this in Romans 8. The word of God calls us to submit all aspects of our life to God’s will and follow the leading of His Spirit. The only other way to live is in the flesh. But as we see from Jesus’ admonition of Peter in Mathew 16, those who live in the flesh live in fear. It is such a life of fear that we often refer to as a rat race. So will we pursue a rat race or will we live by the Spirit?

In this Sunday's message, Pastor Ulysses addresses the issue of abortion and the sanctity of life. What is the bible's guidance on abortion? When does life began? Through God's word we see that all life is important, both the mother and the unborn child's.

Pastor Yoon Lee from Southland Church is our guest speaker this Sunday. From Genesis, we see that God yearns to bless us and through us bless others. However to truly be able to listen to Him, we need to leave behind our sin, idols and distractions. Afterall this lifetime is fleeting and we should live it vibrantly by His word with His People for His glory.

Pastor Ryun Chang reveals to us from the two letters to Corinthians the pastor’s heart of Paul. As he exhorts and increasingly confronts the Corinthian church on its various sinful practices Paul calls its members to test their faith - if Christ is in them. Pastor Chang tells us that this continues to be the most important test we will ever take in our life. Do we have faith that saves? Do we have faith that is verified by the fruit of good works?
