This sunday we continue our Mission Series with guest speaker and Renewal Elder, Pastor Mark Chun. We learn why is it important to share the gospel and how to navigate our own emotions when we do so. We are reminded that Jesus was not ashamed of us when He died for our sins. We should not be ashamed when we teach others of His sacrifice.

Guest speaker Joel King shares from Luke 10: If we take the Lordship of Jesus seriously then we must surrender our selfishness and time to learn and love those around us. This week we learn that there is no way to believe in Jesus and not join Him in His mission to bring our neighbors into His presence.

For Christians, evangelism and the Great Commission feel like need-to-do's rather than want-to-do's. Today's passage is an esoteric one from the Old Testament, but it's a beautiful picture of the gospel. What's more, it reveals the key to a lifetime of urgent and joyful gospel proclamation.

We are broken without Jesus with no hope for redemption or of being cleansed, but God sends his one and only son to save us. In today’s message, we learn that we can respond by hiding from the light or we can choose to receive Jesus in our lives. God’s perfect love is so great that as we draw near to the light in all areas of our lives He will renew us.

In this concluding message on Colossians, we learn the significance of the church body. Paul praises the brothers and friends that have served along his side. Through the lens of his words, we come to realize that every member of the church is important and plays an instrumental role in the great commission. We all need to pray for and answer God's calling no matter how weak or insignificant we think we are.

Continuing our study on the Book of Colossians, we learn more about prayer and how our new Christian selves should affect our relationship with those outside the faith. We learn that we must pray consistently and deeply so that our relationship with God flows out into the rest of our lives. We must also pray that we are gifted opportunities to share the good news and to do it courageously and clearly.

If God is not visible in the most familiar intimate relationship in our lives then we’re falling short of our potential to display His love. When we respect those around us and lay our lives down in our relationships it’s not about us, but about living and demonstrating God’s covenant love. Today we hear how we are called to show God’s love daily.

If "food and drink...festival or a new moon or a Sabbath" "are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh," what can we do? In this week's passage, the Apostle Paul gets to the heart of the matter and teaches us what true spirituality looks like. It's a teaching that applies to us all and does so in every way imaginable.

In this Sunday's message, Pastor Ulysses preaches on how it is easy to regress into a habit of legalism. By believing we can earn our right standing with God through following certain rituals or practices, we give the enemy tools to be used against us. It is only by forming and continuing a relationship with Christ through grace and discipline can we maintain our salvation.

When we are willing to take up the cross, there may be suffering and trial. But we can find comfort knowing that suffering in Jesus name gives us purpose and helps us understand a fraction of the afflictions that Jesus experienced. Today we hear that if we want to follow Jesus there is no other road where we can find Him besides the road of the cross and that we can rejoice as we travel this road.
