Throughout history, fiction, and today, many communities take the shape and characteristics of their leader. On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem in a way that announced His Kingship and His Kingdom. Today, we will study what Christ's Kingdom looks like and how Jesus contrasted Himself from the expectations of other rulers. We will also study what it looks like to join the Kingdom of Christ and what it means to be a citizen.

This week, we wrap up our series titled, "The Heart of God, The Heartbeat of Our Church", where we have looked at what Jesus teaches us about the Heart of God for us through a few parables, such as the prodigal son. While we may be familiar with this parable, we often can limit ourselves to identifying with either of the two sons. Ultimately, we are challenged to be like the Father in this story, full of grace, compassion and love for the lost around us.

This week, we are joined by one of our global ministry partners, Zhenya Chekushkin. Zhenya is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Ternopil and the administrator of Calvary Chapel Ukraine. He shares with us an encouraging word about Jesus' presence with us in the midst of the storms and fears of life. He shares an update of the work that the ministries he works with are doing in Ukraine.
