A government shutdown will go into effect Thursday at midnight if Congress does act to fund the federal government. Meanwhile, lawmakers are getting closer to voting on two massive pieces of President Biden’s agenda: A $1 trillion infrastructure package and a $3.5 trillion spending plan.
