Sumiya Khan, RD was recently on during our Where Are They Now series, and this is her original story from Season 2, in case you haven't heard it or don't know how to find it on your podcast app.

She shared her devastating loss and was on the path to overcoming it at the time of this recording. Her advice on the do’s and don'ts during grieving are golden and should be printed for general public use! She’s truly a model of resilience, and since like-minded folks get together, Sanctuary Kitchen was [is] her passion, outlet, and work empowering refugees. As a role model for all, she lives life outside the box in her work and at home, showing us that through and in grief are opportunities for our growth and sanctuary.
