His right side is paralyzed, his speech severely limited, and tragically, he has lost the ability to indulge in his greatest passion – playing the guitar. Bethany opens up about the chilling experience of being taunted and sexually harassed by someone she initially considered a potential romantic interest, and how she summoned the courage to escape from his home. Her escape was only the beginning of her healing journey, as she shared how she sought support from a trusted friend and well-trained law enforcement professionals.

While Bethany's ordeal came to an end that fateful night, the trauma she endured had a lasting impact on her life. She reveals how the trust issues stemming from that dark encounter haunted her for years. Fortunately, her music guided her, and her current husband’s support and understanding led her to therapy and her healing journey.
