  • Reporting as Eligible - Streaking Through The Quadzilla

On this action-packed episode of Reporting as Eligible, JR, Paul, and Matt recap the Cardinals game while Paul yells about Ben Baldwin. Matt also appeared on “Carrying the G” with Aaron Nagler and Corey Behnke of Cheesehead TV, and AJ Dillon of the Green Bay Packers. Matt was absolutely outstanding, and we have a brief clip of his appearance here. Thanks to @AaronNagler, @coreybehnke, and Cheesehead TV.

  • Reporting as Eligible - Owning the Bears Means Living Rent Free

On this week’s episode, JR and Paul discuss the Bucks cool transformer ring, the Packers slow slow beatdown of the Bears, why they’re so slow, whether they’re actually good at offense or defense, what would happen if they lost Davante, and the difficulties in adjusting for strength of schedule.

Also, like all of the Football Team’s players are hurt, and the defense has regressed from basically the best in the league to the worst, and Ryan Fitzpatrick is hurt, as well as most of their offensive line and skill position players. And their owners are evil. All of that said, Chase Young and Montez Sweat are good, and the Washington defensive front is excellent. Is this the key to the game? Maybe! Plus a new Patreon giveaway!

They also discuss the red zone woes of the defense who haven’t stopped anyone, but also praise Joe Barry, De’Vondre Campbell, Kenny Clark, and really the entire secondary, even Kevin King. He played well! Until he got hurt. Plus listener questions, and a brief lament about the Brewers.

We also have our first big reassessment of Joe Barry, Maurice Drayton and the ten point swing that didn’t happen, Allen Lazard mauling people, Randall Cobb’s hyper efficiency and excellent chemistry, and options at OLB.

They also preview the Bengals, who, while poorly designed, pose some special challenges for a depleted secondary in the form of three good young receivers, and a good young quarterback. Plus listener questions!

Intro: WKRP in Cincinnati - Steve Carlisle

Outro: Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

Plus nepotism, Allen Lazard as a special teams ace, Matt Nagy’s atrociousness, the Lions not catching a single break ever, and listener questions!

It’s an action-packed show, as Green Bay prepares for the withered husk of Ben Roethlisberger, and the Steelers!

Aaron Jones saving the day, MVS’s early struggles, Josh Myers quiet good play, the hopeful ascension of Eric Stokes, the dominoes that fall if Stokes is actually good, De’Vondre Campbell’s veteran presents, Allen Lazard as the new Marcedes Lewis, and whether Aaron should have hit Lazard instead of threading it in to Tonyan.

Plus Jace Sternberger is no more, and listener questions!

Reporting as Eligible – The Manbun of Quarterbacks

In this week’s episode, Paul, JR, and Matt discuss bad hair, no hair, how you can’t actually evaluate much when people just play poorly, Aaron getting punched in the jiminy crickets, two-safety looks, game theory and running against two-safety looks, Joe Barry being terrible, but the Packer defensive front also being terrible and not technically his fault.
