In this, the first of two episodes with Dr. Gay, we explore both the basic concepts of culturally responsive teaching as well as strategies for addressing potential resistance, misunderstanding, and misinformation from others. We discuss how culturally responsive teaching practices, when authentically embraced, enrich everyone involved.
