Restless reflects on Matt Chandler stepping aside from his ministry. What's going on? And will there be any New Calvinists left at the front of the YRR movement?
The episode is both personal in its reflection and considers if we can contribute these to broader trends.

The Restless boys were pulled away from their beloved Restless summer when TGC shared a long pull quote on Instagram.
The Quote read,
Every culture and nation must find common consent in public ethics, specifically on what is prohibited, permitted, and promoted for the common good. True toleration must include living peaceably with deep differences. Most Western nations have extended marital status to arrangements other than heterosexual monogamy. The wise Christian will affirm the legal right of consenting adults to order their lives without fear; yet that right doesn’t entail affirming the goodness of these arrangements. Believers can be good neighbors to all while diverging on some moral issues.
Is this language cause for concern? Could it help Christians in difficult situation in the post-christian west? And who was the very real person who wrote it? All this and more in today's Restless...
We continue the conversation in our very good bonus Patreon Episode.

Restless continues this wonderful Restless summer with an interview with an LCMS Pastor. This Pastor and Friend of the show winsomely explains why no Lutheran is Winsome.
He comes and explains 5 points to help Reformed Evangelicals understand the Lutherans who won't play with anyone else on the theological playground. (his explanation not ours)

Thats right you did not misread this. This podcast is 2 and half hours long. Rather this podcast is 150 minutes long. We are celebrating having crossed more than 150k downloads. So we attempt a continuous podcast for 150 minutes. Good times and trouble are sure to follow.
We react to Tim Keller on The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill. We exhume the least liked take that our Podcast has ever offered. Then towards the end of the podcast at our silliest we watch Rick Warren speak at the SBC convention.
We are going to give away 15 copies of our ebook to the first 15 people who share this podcast. If you already bought the book. We will give you an even better prize.
The next person who reviews this podcast gets a copy of Rob's book.

We had even more to talk to Aaron Renn about. The majority of the conversation is the about the problems with our elites and grill Americans. However unlike most conversations about the elite this one should be empowering.
Aaron Renn is a Senior Fellow and Co-Founder of the American Reformer.
Renn has done a lot of great work on the conservative movement and the evangelical involvement. So for Patreon we ask him if evangelicals got what they wanted from republicans after voting for them for 40 years, with the overturning of Roe.
