McAneny spent a large part of his younger years growing up in Nebraska and went on to attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. His storied U.S. Navy career fills our conversation, although we can't talk about all he has experienced. He is one of those regular Nebraska boys who went on to do world changing things and is still at it today.
