Retrospective Rants episodes

  • Rant on Philosophy!
Apologies in advance, my throat was sore during recording and editing. So my breathing off, to put it lightly.

The title says it all. I rant about Philosophy! Mostly about the preconceptions that we have been told about Philosophy. And I also do my best to convince why studying Philosophy is very good way of ensuring your happiness. Give it a listen!

  • Synthetic Truths: Scene 1
After much coercion from those closest to me, I've decided to post a solo reading of my first full length play "Synthetic Truths", the first scene of it anyway. I wrote this play in the long forgotten year of 2014, but it retains a special place in my heart. Synthetic Truths is the story of an Afterlife Courtroom, populated and managed by historical figures. And this particular case concerns the character of one Erwin Rommel, one of the most contentious and famous figures of the 2nd World War. Humor, Drama, and competing egos all clash in the hopes of seperating fact from opinion. All in the hopes of establishing some final assesment of one man's soul, and findng some deeper truth in the human soul.

Give it a listen, I know you'll like it.

  • Rant on Representation in Media
    Sorry for the delay!

This is my rant on Diversity in Visual Media. Do I criticize it? Do I praise it? Maybe all of it? You'll have to listen to find out.

  • Rant on the "Woke Right"
My Rant on the emergence of "Woke" tendencies rising up in the Right Wing of Politics. Word of warning, I humbly suggest you listen to this without headphones. As my mic has been acting up. It is old and has not been used in awhile, it may finally be time retire the old man.

  • Rant on "The Creative Process" (plus extra).
Rant on my troubles with creativity and family drama that complicates it. Tis unscripted and suitably ranty, so listen to it at your own risk. But thank you for doing so anyway.

  • Rant on Art and Life.
Just a freestyle and unscripted rant that I made after thinking on my last podcast. Thoughts on artists of the past and censorship. Check it out if you're into semi-cogent rants and moral nitpicking.
