Knowing who we are is the key to knowing how we are to conduct ourselves in this chaotic world. How do we know where we are going on this journey of life if we don’t know who we are and to whom we belong? Canadian Georgina Saunders knows who she is as a disciple of Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah and King of Israel. She is not Jewish, but is grafted into the nation of which the Jewish people are the heart. Even after many years is still learning what that means! As we conclude our visit with Georgina, she shares more of what she has learned about being part of God’s covenant nation of Israel.
The Elohim (God) of Israel is the one who calls us to take part in His redemptive work. That is what we hear in the music of Bill Green and Solomon Lopez. Elders Barry Phillips and David Jones look into the promises and responsibilities of that call in their midrash, Believe in the Elohim Who Believes in You.

When a follower of Messiah Yeshua experiences a connection and call to Israel, then it only makes sense that God would send her to China. Well, it may not make sense in our way of thinking, but that is exactly what happened to Canadian Georgina Saunders! As she learned by experience, her time as a teacher in China strengthened her in many ways, and taught her many lessons that would be essential in her journeys to Israel and other places she followed the Holy Spirit’s leading. As each journey unfolded, she gained a new appreciation of her connection with God’s covenant nation of Israel, and an understanding of her identity as part of that nation!
Georgina’s experiences have taught her much about proper perspective about her identity in Messiah Yeshua and how that impacts her daily life. Perspective is exactly what Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in their midrash, and having our Creator as the center of our perspective is the message in music we hear from Mason Clover and Jimmie Black.

At 95 years of age, Canadian Georgina Saunders has a few stories to tell. We cover a few of those stories in this three-part interview! Among the amazing things we learn is that Georgina’s intimate walk with the Lord began at about the time many people are entering their twilight years. Her life was already eventful and fascinating before then, but the real adventure began when she surrendered her life to Yeshua, embraced an enduring love of Israel, and made herself available to her Redeemer to go where He directed. As we learn in this show, that commitment took her immediately to the ends of the earth!
One thing we hear in Georgina’s story is a willingness to stand alone in service to her King. That’s a topic Barry Phillips and David Jones explore in a midrash they call, “Stand Alone When Necessary” – a message with echoes in the music of Will Spires and Melody Joy.

At what age do young people become capable of understanding complicated biblical themes? Maybe at the same age they are assaulted by the hard things of life that could plague them into adulthood – things like sex, drugs, gender confusion, and all the other areas of life under assault by the relativistic culture of our day. Pete Wilson might say that it’s not really a question of whether teenagers can grasp complicated subjects, but which approach to those subjects they will adopt. Thus the real question is how they can be helped into choosing the right approaches that will equip them to be image bearers of Messiah Yeshua, the King Redeemer we also know as Jesus Christ.
In this final episode of our conversation with Pete, we hear how he has dealt with this specific challenge to youth ministry. It’s why he is willing to engage them with heavy topics like systematic theology, making it relevant to their young lives. It’s also why he meets them where they are to help them deal with the challenges they face, such as pornography (for which he has found a powerful resource called Fight the New Drug (https://fightthenewdrug.org/). This is what has made Pete an effective youth minister at Founded in Truth Fellowship.
In a real sense, Pete is breaking down barriers that hinder inter-generational communication. This is an aspect of what Barry Phillips and David Jones talk about in their midrash, “Breaking Boxes.” This is a process that requires love and forgiveness, two topics Mason Clover and Will Spires explore in song.

If you have teenagers in your life, then you probably know it is difficult sometimes to communicate effectively with them. Is there a way to know how to connect with young people? Pete Wilson will tell he doesn’t have all the answers, but in his leadership of the youth ministry at Founded in Truth Fellowship, he has found some things that have worked well – such as Fight the New Drug (https://fightthenewdrug.org/), a program he has used to help teens who struggle with pornography. That’s one of the things we learned about in this second part of our three-part interview with him.
A big part of Pete’s success is in meeting teenagers where they are. This is an aspect of what Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in their midrash called, “Self-Centered or Yah-Centered?” That’s also something we hear in this show’s musical offerings from Eved Adonai and Gregory Brown.

Do you ever wonder what young people are thinking, or how to communicate with them? Pete Wilson has devoted much of his life to those questions. That is why this father of 7 (soon to be 8!) stepped into the role of Youth Pastor at Founded in Truth Fellowship in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We learn Pete’s story in part one of our three-part visit with him. If you have teenagers in your life, you will appreciate Pete’s insights!
Our musical guest is Rut Banks, bringing to us two special songs about her walk with Yeshua. Rut’s music introduces our Elders Barry Phllips and David Jones as they take up the topic of the Generation Gap in this week’s midrash.

The most powerful tool a child of God has is our testimony of life in Him. We hear that in the story Nathan Harmon shares about his journey through a very dark and tragic episode that our Creator used as the means of redemption that continues to inspire everyone who hears it. It is not only the story of Nathan’s personal redemption, but how he began to understand the fullness of his identity in Messiah Yeshua.

David Jones and Barry Phillips carry this theme of identity forward in their midrash on the topic of “National Redemption,” and Kelly Ferrari Mills and Jimmie Black beautifully proclaim the good news of redemption in their musical offerings.

What comes next after learning how to hunt and fish? How about hunting and fishing better!
We can always improve, and that’s especially important regarding the things related to the Kingdom of Heaven. Nathan Harmon brings that into perspective in the context of the Torah Awakening. This phenomenon in the church has been gaining momentum for several decades, so where do we go from here? As Nathan explains, we should be giving serious attention to sharing this message with our family and friends in the traditional churches in ways that they can understand and receive.

Two musicians who have been sharing the Torah Awakening insights for many years are Will Spires and Jimmie Black. They are our musical guests in this show, and along with them Barry Phillips and David Jones share their thoughts on the topic of “Disciple and Love.”

Think about your high school and college years – whether that was 40 years ago, or you’re still there now. Was there, or is there, anyone who captured your attention and motivated you into a genuine, deep relationship with your Savior? Maybe it was a teacher, an evangelist, or a musician. Such a person would first have to be completely devoted to Yeshua (Jesus). After all, how could they motivate others into such a lifestyle is they didn’t already genuine have a genuine relationship with Yeshua – a relationship based on a solid life experience (testimony). Now imagine such a captivating evangelist who honors Torah and has embraced his Hebraic identity as part of the covenant nation of Israel. If you can picture such a person, you have an idea what to expect in Nathan Harmon!
Nathan is our guest in these next three shows, sharing his message of hope, redemption, renewal, and identity in Messiah Yeshua. He and his family carry this message wherever they go. Is this the next step in revival? That’s what we talk about in this high-energy interview!

If you could make enough money to live for a year by working only a few weeks, would you do it? What would you do with all your time? And if you could make more money that you need, how would you use it? And is this even possible?
Yes, it’s possible! That’s where we start in this concluding part of our interview with Josh Tolley, speaker, advisor, and author of Quit Your Job Or Die, and EvangelPreneur. As we have heard throughout this conversation, Josh challenges our ideas on labor, money, business, and related topics as he examines these things in light of scripture. The result is a paradigm-shifting approach to how we walk out our calling as ambassadors of Messiah’s Kingdom!
Solomon Lopez and Eved Adonai provide musical punctuation to the theme of this show, and in between we have some wise observations by Barry Phillips and David Jones on the topic of Hardship and Healing.
