This is the final episode of the logging saga. We imagine visiting railroads of America from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest of America. We are about to hear several more steam-powered lokies in their returned glory. We will feature a few mallets and a few bonuses in places where it is less likely to see or hear steam-powered log trains. It is a logging finale that you won't miss.

Geared locomotives were not the only type of locomotives working on logging railroads. Conventional rod engines also worked in the logging industry. The Shay. The Heisler. The Climax. These three types of geared locomotives were the symbol of logging Railroads in America. Many along with the logging railroads have since disappeared, leaving behind a handful of survivors. In this episode, we will listen to these locomotives as they perform a new chapter in the revival steam movement. We will visit different railroads in California, New Mexico, and Washington State to witness this future action. Imagine a new world of logging steam with Geared Locomotives.

The Rayonier Railroad was the last logging railroad in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. to use steam locomotives. Now imagine that we can relive those days on the Mt. Rainier Railroad. This episode will feature sounds from the fictional future as Rayonier Steam, both original and tribute, makes a grand return near a mountain that gave the railroad its name. A long-lasting tribute to logging steam is about to happen. Enjoy.

We imagine returning to the West Side Camp Railway in August to hear more steam engines at work on their home rails. The stars will involve Shays #8, 9, and the big #10. It is a show that you will enjoy. The sounds from these engines are incredible, and they will make you imagine what it was like during the logging days in this area of the redwood forest.

How about taking a steam train to your favorite campsite? Imagine that this will happen on the fictional West Side Camp Railroad. This episode features a once famous narrow gauge logging Railroad, and imagine that this railroad will have a new lease of life. Spring and the smell of steam and smoke in the forest-filled mountains of West Virginia are in the air. The narrow-gauge railroads of America were an essential part of American transportation for many years. They transported goods and people to areas that usual standard gauge tracks cannot reach. 90% of these tracks are gone, but what if, in the future, we can bring them back? This episode will take us to states like Maine, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Colorado. We will hear what it will sound like if some narrow-gauge railroads are revived and become part of the RS movement. It is an episode worth listening to.
