Revive Church with Pastor Todd Mozingo

Pastor Todd points out that so often when people speak about being healed, many people react skeptically, wondering if they were really healed. Are you a skeptic about healings? What about the miraculous? Is your automatic response doubt? That skepticism can lead to a missed opportunity for revival. That doubt can lead to a missed opportunity to see a great move of God because our faith wasn't where it needed to be.

Today Pastor Todd teaches us about courage highlighting Joshua's experience. As one of 12 spies who went into the promised land he came back with a positive report that the people could go in and take the land because God promised it. God says, "I have given you this territory. I will not fail you. You must be strong and courageous." We must know the Word and listen to the Spirit. "In this I am with you." God says. There is a new marching order but it is the same as the old. "Go get the territory that I have given you." God will not fail you.

Pastor Todd explains a scripture that most of us have read many times but haven't really understood. Sermons have been preached many times in the past on this verse but have they really captured the true meaning of it? Why does Jesus say, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."? Is it because Jesus was weary from His journey? Is Jesus whining about how hard ministry is? Listen in for the answer.

Pastor Todd teaches us today about our position in Christ, our position in the Kingdom of God. These positions include Prophet, Priest and King. In the old Testament we see these roles mostly as separate. However, Jesus operated in all positions and has delegated these roles to us who are born of the Spirit as sons and daughters of God.

Pastor Todd delivers a message of preparation for persecution. He says, "What I mean by that is if you cannot see the oppression coming upon the church, you're blinded right now. And I say it kindly. I say it with kindness towards you. You're being slowly deceived if you cannot see the oppression coming upon the church. The United States is on a path of religious persecution greater than we have ever seen. "

Today Pastor Todd is talking about government. Listen, there are plenty of churches, including the churches I grew up in, that said, oh, no, no, no, we shouldn't be talking about the government in church. That's not something we need to deal with. We just need to pray. We just need to move forward.

He asks "How did that work for us, church, when it came to prayer in school, when it came to abortion, when it came to same sex marriage? When it came to separating the church from the state, that did nothing more than make the state more immoral. No offense, but we have a role to play.

Today Pastor Todd teaches us that hearing from the Holy Spirit is probably more important than we think it is. When you hear from the Holy Spirit it has a direct impact on your faith. Most of us, when we know we've heard from God, it's much easier to step out and move forward than when you're wondering if this is what He wants you to do. But when you've directly heard, now, you know you can move.

Pastor Todd reveals the meaning behind an often overlooked or neglected verse in Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians. Paul refers to our spirit, soul and body. Most of us have a reasonable idea what our body and soul are about but what about our spirit? What do we understand about that and how does our spirit work with our soul and body? Pastor Todd reveals how critical our spirit is to the functioning of our soul and body.

Pastor Todd opens the Word of God and explains the difference between the Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom. Is the goal of entering the Kingdom of God simply so that we can sit and wait for Jesus to return? Is the Kingdom of God already here? Do we have assignments from God to walk out today to expand His Kingdom on Earth?
