In der zweiten Folge machen wir einen „Ausflug“ in die Neurochirurgie: Moderator Matthias Henke spricht mit dem leitenden Arzt des MVZ Pro Patiente - Neurochirurgie der DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend, Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Olaf Süss, über die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede von Orthopädie und Neurochirurgie. Denn das sind zwei medizinische Fachgebiete, die sich zwar mit dem Bewegungsapparat befassen, aber unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte setzen. Orthopädische wie neurochirurgische Aspekte haben z.B. bestimmte Erkrankungen der Wirbelsäule. Deswegen ist bei der Behandlung hier eine enge Zusammenarbeit wichtig. Das gilt auch für Bandscheibenvorfälle.

CED sind Erkrankungen, bei denen der Verdauungstrakt chronisch entzündet ist. Die häufigsten Formen sind Morbus Crohn und Colitis ulcerosa. Die genauen Ursachen von CED sind noch nicht vollständig geklärt. Man vermutet, dass ein Zusammenspiel von genetischen Faktoren und Umweltfaktoren eine Rolle spielt. Mit der richtigen Behandlung können Menschen mit CED ein weitgehend normales Leben führen.
In der dritten Folge unserer Miniserie spricht Moderator Matthias Henke über weitere Aspekte der Chronisch-Entzündlichen Darmerkrankung mit dem Oberarzt der Klinik für Innere Medizin - Gastroenterologie, Hämatologie und Onkologie, Nephrologie der DRK Kliniken Berlin Köpenick, Dr. med.
