RHO Podcast

Austin Stone is the man behind Tactical Approach Outdoors. When he's not laying the hammer on giant public land bucks in Missouri and Kansas, he spends his time managing and consulting on hunting properties, teaching webinars and whitetail workshops, and creating awesome content on YouTube.

This week we talked about his 2024 public land buck, how the hunt went down, what he thought were the biggest keys to harvesting the buck, and much more. We learn something every time we talk to Austin and hopefully you guys do too.

On this episode of Full Draw Friday, Canyon talks about the second rut. He discusses what it is, why it happens, and how to hunt it. While most does have been bred by now, there are still some that will be in estrous throughout the rest of the season. If you're lucky and play your cards right, you just might catch a mature buck chasing one by your stand.

On this Full Draw Friday, Canyon talks late November strategy for finding bucks. It can be a weird time, because the bucks still want to rut, while the does are ready to go back to food. That can play to your advantage though if you know where to go. That's what this episode is all about! Hopefully these strategies will help you tag a late November buck this season.
