Sam was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy his sophomore year of high school... Since accepting his diagnosis, Sam strives to take it day by day. What I love about this dude, is that he doesn't stress the little things anymore. Life is too short to waste your energy on things that don't matter. Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive disease, so Sam knew this last snow season might’ve been his last.. So he moved to Vermont and ski'd every day! Thanks for joining me Sam.

Cute couple, Dannie and Emilio, join Aubrey and I to talk about dating with chronic illness. Dannie has struggled with chronic illness her whole life. She has EOE, but that is just one of her struggles.. She also has Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis, Oral Allergy Syndrome, and Esophageal Motility Disorder. Dannie’s immune system is compromised, which causes her to go to the hospital frequently. You think that would weigh someone down, but Dannie doesn't allow it!! She stays positive by setting small goals each day. Dannie is in the process of writing a children's book about EOE!!! Woo!! Dannie and Emilio share what dating looks like for them. Their story is so refreshing and inspiring for people worried their chronic illness might get in the way of finding love.

17 year old, Kyle Casipit is nearing the end of high school, and goes by the rapper name "Kylesimps". During the past month, Kyle released "S.I.M.P" and it just hit over 1 million streams. Let's go!! Kyle shares what it's like being in high school and figuring out what path he wants to take going forward. Record labels are reaching out to Kylesimps, but he is also considering doing the college route.. Can he do both? Maybe! Thanks Bru!

In middle school, Quentin got a virus that caused him to go blind... And you thought your middle school experience was hard?.. LOL. What I love about Quentin is that he doesn't let his circumstance hold him back. This guy is shredded beyond belief.. and shared with me some pretty awesome ambitions/plans! Get pumped. No pun intended..!! It's funny because Quentin lifts weights.. ha. ha. ha.......
