FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Rich Valdés Continues Late-Night Talk Show "This Is America" on iHeartRadio with Exciting Expansion Ahead
NEW YORK, NY – November 13, 2025 – ABC Recording Network™ (ABCrecording.com) is thrilled to announce that late-night talk show host and conservative commentator Rich Valdés will continue hosting his popular nightly program, "This Is America with Rich Valdés", on iHeartRadio. Fresh episodes air Monday through Friday, with new shows available each weeknight, Monday through Friday, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Listeners can tune in via the iHeartRadio app, iHeart.com, or RichValdes.com.
Known as "your liberty-loving Latino amigo" and "the voice of Hispanic conservatives," Valdés keeps the show's beloved format intact: sharp commentary, humor, engaging topics, top-tier guests, and insightful opinions. The fan-favorite "Open Phone America" segment remains a highlight, paying tribute to late-night legends like Larry King and Jim Bohannon, whom Valdés succeeded in terrestrial syndication from 2022 to 2026. This shift gives Valdés greater flexibility to grow the show's audience through streaming video platforms and new terrestrial stations while maintaining that one-on-one interaction with his dedicated listeners. Callers can join the town hall conversation during the real-time production of the show by dialing 1-877-VALDES-1 (1-877-825-3371), plus they also now have the enhanced option to leave recorded messages 24 hours a day for on-air playback on the next show.
Valdés, a frequent commentator on cable news networks including Newsmax, Fox News, and the UK's GB News, will continue his regular appearances providing insightful analysis and humor. His contributions to other media outlets will also continue.
Looking ahead, Valdés signaled the forthcoming news of multiple strategic partnerships in early 2026 to broaden syndication beyond audio, with his production company actively exploring opportunities for further audience and revenue growth.
On November 13th, Valdés shared that: “It was the honor of a lifetime to be the third host in 45 years on the Mutual Broadcasting/Westwood One late-night airwaves, succeeding titans like Larry King and Jimbo [Jim Bohannon], and engaging with the listeners – my ‘amigos,’ my amazing radio ‘familia.’ I thank God for all of it! The team at Westwood One is top-notch, and I congratulate my successor on his new role. We’re passing him a solid show, and I’m confident he’ll do well. I am proud to exit the show having expanded live endorsements each year, and the reach of the program by dozens of affiliates in 2023, 2024, and 25 more in 2025. Now, it’s time for me to expand my own reach and opportunities in streaming video. I’m leaving WWO, but not leaving my microphone. I will continue to host ‘This Is America with Rich Valdés,’ and my contributions on cable television and terrestrial radio will continue as well. In true radio fashion, I’ll leave you with a tease – stay tuned, America, because there’s more to come straight ahead in 2026! Godspeed.”
