Finally this Thursday morning, we hear from none other than Virginia's Governor, Glenn Youngkin! Governor Youngkin talks to John about the Hurricane Debby-prompted state of emergency, as well as a recently issued Executive Order regarding election integrity.
Happy Hump Day, fam!!! On today's show, we talk primarily about the selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as Kamala Harris' Democrat running mate. Our guests are Tommy Baer, Barry Moore, Huw Shakeshaft, Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears, and Elizabeth Pipko. Enjoy!
In our first hour, we mostly discuss the selection by Kamala Harris of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate on the Democrat Party ticket.
In our second hour, we question whether the Dems' VP choice had anything to do with burgeoning anti-Jewish/anti-Israel sentiment among those on the Far Left. We also check in with Barry Moore from the Better Business Bureau about its work in Central Virginia.
In our third hour, we cover current events both close to home and across the Atlantic, checking in with Huw Shakeshaft and Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears, respectively.
In our final hour, we continue to discuss the selection of TIm Walz as Kamala Harris' VP nominee -- and chat about the National Broadcasting Company's payroll!
To start with this AM, John discusses Kamala Harris' choice for a running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz -- articulating that he is definitely not moderate. Along with Gary, John also discusses the sudden death yesterday of Hopewell High School football player Jayvion Taylor.
Atop the 7 o'clock hour, we hear from John's boyhood next-door neighbor, attorney and Jewish advocate Tommy Baer -- who shares his thoughts about Kamala Harris' VP vetting process (and about the current Democrat Party more generally).
In our 7:30 half hour, we check in with the Better Business Bureau's Barry Moore -- who talks to John about the BBB's mission and work (which includes the effort to protect consumers from scams/fraud).
Atop the 8 o'clock hour, we hear from our "Across the Pond" friend Huw Shakeshaft. John and Huw discuss the unrest in Britain that has followed the murder of several Taylor Swift fans a couple of weeks ago.
