Atop the 9 o'clock hour, we check in with friend of the show, State Senate Minority Leader Ryan McDougle. John and Senator McDougle discuss the new state laws going into effect this month (as well as the controversy that continues to surround VMSDEP).
In our third hour this morning, we discuss the ongoing fallout from last week's Presidential Debate, Justice Clarence Thomas' legacy, and 1986's Liberty Weekend -- which John participated in!
At the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour, we hear from author and filmmaker Michael Pack, who discusses the subject of both his documentary and biography, Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas. John and Michael talk about Justice Thomas' jurisprudence (i.e., judicial philosophy), as well as his legacy as a jurist.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour we hear from our friend, former Virginia Governor Doug Wilder -- who mostly talks to John about last week's Presidential Debate, Joe Biden's health, and whether the Democrats will try to replace him on the party's ticket.
In our second hour, we talk about the Supreme Court's reversal of Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council and 4th of July-related celebrations around town this week.

Atop the 7 o'clock hour, we hear from good friend of the show -- Karen "I'll Be the Judge of That" Michael, of Karen Michael Consulting and The Job Judge podcast. John and Karen discuss a somewhat-overlooked ruling from the Supreme Court, reversing its decades-ago decision in Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council.
In hour one this Tuesday morning, John addresses the High Court's Presidential Immunity decision and immigration, among other topics.
